Todd Gendreau has been with Strategic Consulting Services since November 2002. Todd is also a co-owner of SCS. Prior to working at SCS, Todd worked as a Vocational Consultant for Whittall Management Group and as a Juvenile Rehabilitation Counselor at Echo Glen Children’s Center with DSHS.
Todd has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Western Washington University and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Diego State University. Outside of work, Todd enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, and spending time with family.
Stacy Gendreau has been with Strategic Consulting Services since July 2003. Prior to her employment with SCS she worked as a Child and Family Therapist with Group Health and Comprehensive Mental Health and as a Juvenile Rehabilitation Counselor at Echo Glen Children’s Center (DSHS). She has her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Western Washington University and her Master of Arts in Systems Counseling from Bastyr University.
Outside of work, Stacy has a love of photography and spending time with her family – skiing, hiking and enjoying our beautiful Washington!
Stacey Lambert has been with Strategic Consulting Services since May 2007. Prior to working at SCS, Stacey worked for Whittall as a Branch Manager for eight-years and ERNWest as a Director of Group Management for over six years. Stacey has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Education from University of Puget Sound. Outside of work, Stacey enjoys soccer, running, family time and travel.
Sonia Stratton has been with Strategic Consulting Services since October 2003. She has 20 years of experience providing vocational assessment, rehabilitation planning, job placement activities and ability to work assessments.
Ms. Stratton provides vocational rehabilitation services to workers covered by Washington State Department of Labor and Industries in both state funded as well as self-insured cases. Her practice also includes providing vocational expert testimony in litigated cases.
Ms. Stratton earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation from UW-Stout with a concentration in Rehabilitation Counseling. She holds national certifications in Disability Management.
In her non-working hours, Ms. Stratton enjoys gardening, hiking, camping and knitting.
Ric Burd has been with Strategic Consulting Services since June 2004. Prior to working at SCS, Ric worked as an Account Manager for a national healthcare company managing accounts and developing products and programs related to occupational healthcare.
Ric has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Western Washington University and a Master of Education in Counseling from Seattle Pacific University. Outside of work, Ric enjoys outdoor activities and sports.
Lori Allen has been with Strategic Consulting Services since February 2006. Prior to working at SCS, Lori worked at the Department of Labor & Industries in the Vocational Dispute Resolution Office for 7 years. Lori has been in the vocational rehabilitation field since 1992 with 24 years of experience as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. Prior to vocational rehabilitation, Lori worked with inmates on parole, and as a career counselor at a local college. Her education in counseling psychology is specific to assisting those with mental health diagnoses, and special needs populations. Lori is fluent in Spanish.
In 1995, Lori obtained a Master’s Degree in Psychological Counseling at Saint Martin’s College. She also attended Texas Tech for Graduate studies in Vocational Rehabilitation. Lori holds a CRCC (Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification). Lori specializes in complex claims and is well respected for her legal expertise. Outside of work, Lori enjoys bike riding, cooking, and learning about the world.
Leigh Haley has been a vocational consultant with SCS since September 2004. She has provided vocational consulting for the Department of Labor and Industries and self insurance, specifically Boeing. Leigh obtained her Disability Management Certificate in 2007. In addition Leigh assists with the day to day management at SCS.
Leigh began her work in the workers compensation industry in 1999 when she worked as a Safety Director and Workers Compensation Specialist for a telecommunications company. She then became a Claims Manager for a third party administrator working specifically with Construction Companies and Nursing Care Facilities in the Puget Sound area. Leigh assisted in the overall management of claims as well as specialized in assisting employers to develop and maintain positive hiring practices and safety programs.
Leigh graduated from Central Michigan University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Her major was in Social Sciences with a minor in reading. She worked as a 6th grade teacher for a year and a half before moving to Seattle, Washington in 1999. While teaching Leigh was a union representative as well as a 7th grade girls basketball coach.
Outside of work, Leigh enjoys time with her family and friends, travelling, playing sports, watching hockey and exploring new business ventures.
Julie Busch, a co-owner of SCS, has 18 years of experience providing vocational assessment, rehabilitation planning, job analysis and expert testimony.
Ms. Busch provides vocational rehabilitation services to workers covered by Washington State Department of Labor and Industries as well as federal worker’s compensation systems such as the Longshore and Harbor Worker’s Compensation Act. She also provides expert testimony in both areas.
Ms. Busch earned a Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology from Central Washington University and holds her CDMS certification.
Carrie Guthrie-Whitlow has been with Strategic Consulting Services since November 2003. She has over twenty one years of experience as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor providing services for Washington State Fund & Self-Insured Workers Compensation Claims, Alaska Worker’s Compensation, Longshore, Legal & Personal Injury claims.
Carrie has extensive experience with claims related to chronic pain & illness, traumatic brain injury, and other non-work related disabling conditions. Carrie works well with medical professionals and health care facilities to coordinate and monitor treatment programs, and participate in treatment team meetings. Carrie has also provided expert testimony for Personal Injury, Longshore, and Worker’s Compensation Claims in Washington & Alaska.
Carrie has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from University of Washington and her Master degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Western Washington University. Outside of work, Carrie enjoys horses, horses and horses – specifically events for Dressage and Jumping.
Brad Pierce, the President of Strategic Consulting Services, founded SCS in 2002. Brad graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and has worked as a Vocational Consultant since 1994.
In addition to overseeing a caseload and providing vocational rehabilitation services he spearheads business development, implements business strategies, directs marketing efforts and recruiting as well as monitors overall operations at SCS.
In his spare time, Brad enjoys the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting and being active in golf, running and travelling.
