Shannon Stewart has worked in vocational rehabilitation with Strategic Consulting Services since 2005 and obtained her CDMS in 2010. Shannon obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Pacific Lutheran University in 1998, with a degree in Spanish and Communications. Shannon is bilingual, and speaks both English and Spanish after having lived abroad in Argentina, Spain, and Costa Rica, and having been a consultant for projects in Mexico and Ecuador.
Prior to entering the field of vocational rehabilitation, she worked for 7 years in marketing for an international non-governmental organization that worked with relief and development in over 100 countries. During this timeframe, she also completed two years of a Masters in Business Administration degree via Eastern University in Pennsylvania, while studying in a cohort based out of Ecuador.
Shannon enjoys walking, reading, and working with people while assisting them in their vocational endeavors.
Peggy O’Neill has been with Strategic Consulting Services since 2005. Peggy has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Washington University and has completed vocational courses at Edmonds Community College and South Puget Sound Community College. She is a certified CDMS. Prior to working at SCS, Peggy lived in Tokyo, Japan developing and implementing a large scale study abroad program with a Japanese university. Peggy is fluent in Japanese.
Peggy also has experience as a Technical Editor for a start-up technology company; as a Medical Billing Specialist and as an Office Manager for the District Office of an insurance company. Peggy has found that her varied background makes vocational consulting a very good fit using all of her skills: Interacting with a variety of people, writing and editing, insurance and medical.
Outside of work, Peggy teaches financial responsibility to people in her community and assists with workshops based on the Clifton StrengthFinders program. In her spare time she enjoys singing, community theater, gardening and interacting with her pets.
Lori Allen has been with Strategic Consulting Services since February 2006. Prior to working at SCS, Lori worked at the Department of Labor & Industries in the Vocational Dispute Resolution Office for 7 years. Lori has been in the vocational rehabilitation field since 1992 with 24 years of experience as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. Prior to vocational rehabilitation, Lori worked with inmates on parole, and as a career counselor at a local college. Her education in counseling psychology is specific to assisting those with mental health diagnoses, and special needs populations. Lori is fluent in Spanish.
In 1995, Lori obtained a Master’s Degree in Psychological Counseling at Saint Martin’s College. She also attended Texas Tech for Graduate studies in Vocational Rehabilitation. Lori holds a CRCC (Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification). Lori specializes in complex claims and is well respected for her legal expertise. Outside of work, Lori enjoys bike riding, cooking, and learning about the world.
Jaclyn Hamilton has been with Strategic Consulting Services since June 2011. Prior to working at SCS, Jaclyn was a full time student. Jackie is fluent in Spanish.
Jaclyn has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with a Minor in Education from the University of Washington. Outside of work, Jaclyn enjoys playing with her pug, playing the piano and teaching Spanish at an elementary school.
Elena Chumak has been with Strategic Consulting Services since August 2012. Prior to working at SCS, Elena worked as a Vault Teller in the Banking Industry and prior to that she worked as an Accounting Specialist for Liberty Mutual Co. Elena is fluent in Russian.
Carter Hyatt has been with Strategic Consulting Services since June 2004. Prior to working at SCS, Carter worked as a VRC since 1999 and prior to that worked as a Counselor at a Homeless Transitional Living Center. Carter is fluent in Spanish.
Carter has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University and a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Outside of work, Carter enjoys fishing, golfing, traveling with his wife and supporting their children’s sporting activities.
