Rebecca “Beckie” Hill is a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and Case Manager and has been practicing in this role since 2001. Beckie earned her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Western Washington University in 2017, and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Western Washington University in 1998. Beckie is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor; a Certified Disability Management Specialist; a certified Progressive Goal Attainment Program Trained Activity Coach; a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist; and a Certified Case Manager. Ms. Hill is also an associate member of the American Board of Vocational Experts.

Beckie has provided vocational services to clients in Washington State and beyond and has worked with individuals with catastrophic, life altering injuries for many years. Her love of working with people with disabilities began at a very young age working with a child who suffered a traumatic brain injury, and another child with cerebral palsy. In addition, she volunteered at a summer camp for children with disabilities. Beckie has hands on skills in providing direct assistance with life care planning, legal cases, earning capacities, and self-insured work. Beckie is also an approved Vocational Expert for the Social Security Administration. In addition, Beckie provides rehabilitation counseling to clients in all phases of Department of Labor & Industries vocational services. Beckie is able to utilize her breadth of knowledge and skill-set to provide expert opinions in a diverse range of cases.

Beckie is a member of the American Rehabilitation Counseling Association. She is a member of International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) and served as the Washington State Chapter’s Member at Large for 2014-2015. Beckie was selected as a panel member for the WA IARP 2013 conference discussing On-The-Job training. Beckie is also a member of Washington Self-Insurers Association (WSIA). Beckie is past Treasurer of the organization Professionals in Workers Compensation. She is also a member of the Puget Sound Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and is past Co-Chair for the Events Committee.

Outside of work, Beckie enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, the Seahawks, playing with her dogs, doing water aerobics, and enjoying yoga.

Stacey Lambert, M.Ed., CRC, PGAP

Stacey Lambert has been with Strategic Consulting Services since May 2007. Prior to working at SCS, Stacey worked for Whittall as a Branch Manager for eight-years and ERNWest as a Director of Group Management for over six years. Stacey has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Education from University of Puget Sound. Outside of work, Stacey enjoys soccer, running, family time and travel.

Leigh Haley, BS, CDMS, PGAP

Leigh Haley has been a vocational consultant with SCS since September 2004. She has provided vocational consulting for the Department of Labor and Industries and self insurance, specifically Boeing. Leigh obtained her Disability Management Certificate in 2007. In addition Leigh assists with the day to day management at SCS.

Leigh began her work in the workers compensation industry in 1999 when she worked as a Safety Director and Workers Compensation Specialist for a telecommunications company. She then became a Claims Manager for a third party administrator working specifically with Construction Companies and Nursing Care Facilities in the Puget Sound area. Leigh assisted in the overall management of claims as well as specialized in assisting employers to develop and maintain positive hiring practices and safety programs.

Leigh graduated from Central Michigan University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Her major was in Social Sciences with a minor in reading. She worked as a 6th grade teacher for a year and a half before moving to Seattle, Washington in 1999. While teaching Leigh was a union representative as well as a 7th grade girls basketball coach.

Outside of work, Leigh enjoys time with her family and friends, travelling, playing sports, watching hockey and exploring new business ventures.

Jem Rockholt, CDMS, PGAP

Jem Rockholt has been with Strategic Consulting Services since November 2007. Jem has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Central Washington University.

Carlynn Chumak, MSW, LCSW, PGAP

Carlynn Chumak has been with Strategic Consulting since August of 2012. Prior to SCS, Carlynn worked as a Vocational Counselor Intern for The Great Northern Consulting Company. Prior to her work in vocational services she was a Mental Health Therapist for Portland Public School’s special education programs and has worked in a variety of therapeutic settings including drug and alcohol treatment, group home settings, and work with children and teens in residential treatment.

Carlynn has a Bachelor degree in Social Work from Warner Pacific College and a Master degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University. She has her License in Clinical Social Work and is a Certified Disability Management Specialist.

Outside of work, Carlynn enjoys music, theatre, staying active, and enjoying the great outdoors with her husband, toddler, and two Italian Greyhounds. She is also currently learning Russian which she admits continues to be the biggest academic challenge of her life!

Brad Pierce, CDMS, PGAP

Brad Pierce, the President of Strategic Consulting Services, founded SCS in 2002.  Brad graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and has worked as a Vocational Consultant since 1994.

In addition to overseeing a caseload and providing vocational rehabilitation services he spearheads business development, implements business strategies, directs marketing efforts and recruiting as well as monitors overall operations at SCS.

In his spare time, Brad enjoys the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting and being active in golf, running and travelling.
